Bolts Bring Back Reggie Walker

One of the biggest additions to the San Diego Chargers last year was the unheralded signing of Reggie Walker just prior to the start of the season. After being a surprise cut of the Arizona Cardinals at the end of training camp, the Bolts immediately signed the versatile linebacker the week before the season started.
Walker rewarded the Chargers with his best season to date, and following San Diego’s exit from the playoffs, Walker let it be known he wanted to remain with the club that had faith in him. Sure enough, he’s returning to the Chargers after agreeing to a two-year deal that will keep him in America’s Finest City.
The 6-0, 244-pounder registered 42 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, six QB hits and one forced fumble in 2013. He also notched the first three sacks of his career. Walker began the season at inside linebacker, starting two games after injuries forced Manti Te’o and Donald Butler to the sideline. When those two returned and the outside linebacker position was riddled with injuries, he shifted to outside linebacker where he made four starts. Overall, the Bolts went 4-2 in the six games he was thrust in the starting lineup.
Walker entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State. He spent his first four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before landing in San Diego. Read
