The San Diego Chargers received a 24-hour extension to sell enough tickets to lift the local television blackout of Sunday’s game between the Chargers and New York Giants at Qualcomm Stadium. The team has until 1:25 p.m. PT Friday to sell more than 3,000 general tickets. Plenty of Club seats – some of the best seats in the stadium – also are available.
You can buy tickets by going online to Ticketmaster.com, calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or visiting the Chargers Ticket Office located at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers’ ticket office is open weekdays from 8-5 p.m. and this Saturday from 10-4 p.m. The ticket office opens at 9 AM on Sunday.
If the blackout is lifted, the game will be telecast by Fox Sports and seen in San Diego on Fox 5 and in Los Angeles and Orange County on Fox 11. Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston will call the action and Tony Siragusa will report from the sidelines. Read
