Per NFL policy, the game between the Chargers and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 16 will not be shown live in Southern California. The game kicks off at 1:05 pm PT at Qualcomm Stadium.
The League’s long-standing policy requires all games not sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff to be blacked out in the local market. This includes all signals within a 75-mile radius of the stadium and those areas whose television signal reaches within that 75-mile zone. The League’s policy affects all telecasts, including cable and satellite.
Nearly 11,000 general tickets remain available at Qualcomm Stadium Gate C, www.Chargers.com, TicketMaster outlets or by calling TicketMaster at 1-800-745-3000. Several hundred Club seats – some of the best locations in the stadium – also are available. The Chargers’ ticket office is open weekdays 8-5 pm and Saturday 10-4 pm.
The Chargers-Panthers game may be the last chance to attend a 2012 home game. The Chargers’ final home game of the season versus the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Dec. 30 has only Club seats and scattered single general tickets still available.
The radio broadcast of Sunday’s game can be heard on Rock 105.3 FM and XTRA Sports 1360 AM in San Diego and KLAC 570 AM in Los Angeles. Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer will call the game from the booth and Mike Costa will report from the sideline. The Chargers Radio Network also includes KATY 101.3 FM in Temecula and the Inland Empire; KCAL 96.7 FM in Riverside and San Bernardino; KNWH 1250 AM in the Yucca Valley; KNWZ 94.3 FM in Palm Springs; KAVL 610 AM in Palmdale and Lancaster; KSPA 1510 AM in Ontario, Inland Empire and Rancho Cucamonga; KRAK 910 AM in Victorville and Hesperia; KKYT 93.7 FM in Ridgecrest; ESPN Radio 1100 AM in Las Vegas; KXO 107.5 FM in the Imperial Valley and Yuma, Arizona; KHIT 1450 AM in Reno, Nevada, and Sirius Satellite Radio.
The game will be broadcast in Spanish on XHFG 107.3 FM in San Diego, KWKW 1330 AM in Los Angeles, XHSOL 89.9 FM in Mexicali, Mexico and XEHS 1590 AM in Ensenada. Jorge Villanueva and Dante Lazcano will call the action.
