Wednesday Chargers Report
It was back to work for the Bolts today as the team returned to the practice field in preparation for Sunday’s game in Cleveland.
When head coach Norv Turner addressed the media following the Chargers’ workout, he discussed the health of the team as every member of the 53 man squad participated in practice. To hear what coach had to say about this and the upcoming game vs. the Browns, click here.
Once Turner finished up at the podium, it was Philip Rivers turn to speak. Rivers spoke passionately about the Bolt’s chances for the rest of the season, and explained why he still believes the team is destined for success.
Before practice, Nick Novak sat down and wrote a blog entry for us. Click here to read what he had to say about kicking for the Chargers, and what it feels like to make a game-winning field goal in the NFL.
Finally, the team announced that they will hold their Annual Food Drive next Thursday during their game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. The fan who brings the most nonperishable food items to the game will receive a special 50th Anniversary autographed football.
