Chargers reach practice squad limit

SAN DIEGO – The Chargers reached the eight-man practice squad maximum Monday.
San Diego signed tackle Eric Young and quarterback Drew Willy.
Young spent a portion of last season on the Bolts’ practice squad and spent training camp in San Diego. Willy, who spent training camp with the New York Jets, has spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Locomotives (UFL).
Other members of the practice squad, signed Sunday, are linebacker Bront Bird, defensive tackle Charlie Bryant, tackle Steve Schilling, cornerback Traye Simmons, fullback Frank Summers and tight end Brad Taylor.
