NFL.com: Browns at Chargers | Your Take

The 6-2 San Diego Chargers, tied with Denver for first place in the AFC West, open a two-game road trip in Cincinnati, Ohio when they take on the Bengals Sunday, Nov. 12. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. PST.

This will be the Bolts’ second straight game against a team from the Buckeye state. Last Sunday, they beat the Cleveland Browns, 32-25, in San Diego despite missing several key players on defense. The Chargers are among the NFL’s hottest teams, having won two straight and four of their last five. They will be looking for their third win of the season on the road. The Bengals started the year as one of the NFL’s hottest teams, winning their first three, but they have since lost four of five.

The Chargers lead the regular-season series with Cincinnati, 17-10. They have won three of the last four, six of the last eight and two straight in the Queen City.

The Chargers come into this Sunday’s game in Cincinnati featuring one of the NFL’s most balanced and explosive offenses. They rank third in the league in total offense and are one of only three teams in the NFL with more than 1,200 yards rushing and passing for the season.

Leading the offense is perennial All-Pro LaDainian Tomlinson, who leads the NFL in scoring (14 touchdowns and a touchdown pass) and total yards from scrimmage (1,151), while ranking second in rushing (828). For the first time in his career, LT’s rushed for over 170 yards in consecutive games and he’s scored 11 touchdowns in the last four games. Tomlinson is only the second player in NFL history to score three touchdowns and rush for over 150 yards in consecutive games (Delvin Williams, S.F. in 1976).

Marty Schottenheimer leads the Bolts as they go in search of their eighth-straight win in November. He is also going after career win No. 193, which would tie him with former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Chuck Noll for fifth most all-time.
