“Carl’s Jr. Star of the Game”
San Diego Chargers
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A Purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Open only to legal U.S. residents, who reside and are physically located in the 48 contiguous states of the U.S., who are 18 years of age or older. Void in Alaska, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes begins on or about 09/12/11 and ends on or about 01/09/12.
METHOD OF ENTRY: (1) Enter on-line by visiting www.sandiegochargers.com and clicking on the “Carl’s Jr. Star of the Game” Sweepstakes link. Follow the instructions to complete and submit the on-line entry form, providing the requested contact information. On-line entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST on the Saturday preceding each San Diego Chargers’ 2011 NFL regular season game, (first game is on 9/11/11), subject to the Prize Period entry deadlines set forth below. No form of Internet/e-mail participation other than as indicated above will be accepted. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for purposes of the Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person per day (24 hour period).
The sweepstakes will be conducted over the course of sixteen (16) weeks, There will be sixteen (16) separate Weekly Prize Periods and one (1) Grand Prize Period. Each Prize Period will have its own drawing on the Monday following each San Diego Chargers’ 2011 NFL regular season game, with one prize) for each drawing. In order to be eligible for a given Prize Period drawing, entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST on the Saturday preceding each San Diego Chargers’ 2011 NFL regular season game. The game dates for the Chargers 2011 regular season are 09/11/11; 09/18/11; 09/25/11; 10/02/11; 10/09/11; 10/16/11; 10/31/11; 11/06/11; 11/10/11; 11/20/11; 11/27/11; 12/05/11; 12/11/11; 12/18/11; 12/24/11; and 01/01/12. In the event of an NFL schedule change, dates of Prize Periods may be subject to change. Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to submit multiple entries in violation of the above-indicated entry limitation will be disqualified. In case of dispute, on-line entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to submit the entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
2. PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING: Each of the sixteen (16) Weekly Prizes consists of a $20 gift card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $20 each Weekly Prize . Odds of winning Weekly Prize depend on number of eligible entries received for each Weekly Prize Period drawing. The Grand prize consists of gift cards totaling $260. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $__260. Odds of winning Grand Prize will depend on number of eligible entries received for each Weekly Prize Period drawing and thereafter amongst the Weekly Prize winners will be 1:16. Prize is non-transferable. No prize substitution.
3. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Employees and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouse, regardless of where they live), and members of their same households, whether related or not, of Carl’s Jr, Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., the San Diego Chargers, NFL Entities as defined below, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies are ineligible. By participating, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the judges’ decisions, which are final and binding.
4. DRAWING: Each of the sixteen (16) Weekly Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing on the Monday (or Thursday if applicable) immediately following each of the San Diego Chargers’ 2011 NFL regular season games as follows: Period #1: 09/19/11; Period #2: 09/26/11; Period #3: 10/03/11; Period #4: 10/10/11; Period #5: 10/17/11; Period #6: 10/31/11; Period #7: 11/07/11; Period #8: 11/10/11; Period #9: 11/21/11; Period #10: 11/28/11; Period #11: 12/05/11; Period #12: 12/12/11; Period #13: 12/19/11 Period #14: 12/26/11; Period #15: 1/2/12; Period #16: 1/09/12. Grand Prize will be selected in a random drawing on 1/09/12 after that week’s weekly winner is drawn. Each drawing will be conducted by the San Diego Chargers, from all eligible entries received for the applicable Prize Period drawing. Potential Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail and/or overnight mail. Each Weekly Prize Winner must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where legal) within seven (7) days of prize notification. In the event of noncompliance, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware/software malfunctions/failures; or for garbled, jumbled or corrupt transmissions; for incorrect or incomplete information on the website whether caused by users or computer equipment; or for other technical error of any kind (including but not limited to damage to entrant’s or a third party’s computer related to or resulting from participation in Sweepstakes). CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. If, for any reason, the on-line component of the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as originally planned (such as, computer virus, bug, worm or tampering) or due to other factors beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the on-line component of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the on-line component of the Sweepstakes and select the winner(s) for one or more affected drawing(s) from among all eligible on-line entries received for such affected drawing(s) prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or to otherwise select winner(s) for such affected drawing(s) in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If necessary, notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted at www.sandiegochargers.com.
5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants hereby release and agree to hold harmless Carl’s Jr., Carl Karcher Enterprises., the San Diego Chargers and the NFL Entities as defined below, and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, agents, employees of the foregoing entities from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from, this Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, receipt or use/misuse of any prize(s). Any taxes on prize(s) are the sole responsibility of winner. Limit one Weekly Prize per person regardless of number of sweepstakes entered.
6. WINNERS’ LIST/OFFICIAL RULES: A records of the winning entry and the odds of winning will be kept on file by Sponsors for a period of one (1) year after the Grand Prize drawing.
