ConstanceConstance is a 3rd year veteran with the San Diego Chargers. Born and raised in San Diego, she comes from a family of what she describes as “die-hard” Chargers’ Fans. Her father is a retired Navy Master Chief, which is why her favorite events to participate in as a Charger Girl are those that aim to support the military. A fan of the San Diego Food Bank and the San Diego Humane Society, Constance is inspired by others that share her compassion for those in need. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Public Relations and Journalism, Constance currently works as a Diabetes Specialist - a career that she loves because it allows her to help others on a daily basis. Outside of her career and involvement with the Charger Girls, Constance enjoys spending time with her family that she says is “big, loud and very loving.” Because Constance first started her cheerleading career as part of a Pop Warner football program at the age of 10, she hopes to one day coach a squad of young girls. Constance received the opportunity to practice her coaching skills in February of 2008 as an instructor for the NFL Pro Bowl Youth Clinics. During this trip, she traveled the Hawaiian Islands with other NFL Cheerleaders in an effort to educate, support and teach cheer and dance to Hawaii’s youth. Constance describes her experience in Hawaii as one of the most memorable in her career as a Charger Girl. |
